Lindgren Resigns as Crusaders Men's Lacrosse Coach

IRVING, Texas – Keith Lindgren, the head coach for the University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team, announced his resignation on Thursday. The two-year coach for the Crusaders has accepted the head coach position at NCAA Division II program Adams State University. Lindgren’s final date will be July 16. Dallas will begin searching for its fourth coach of the program immediately.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Athletics Department celebrated the third annual athletic banquet on Sunday at the Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 14 NCAA affiliated programs took a few minutes to reflect on the teams’ year. The Most Valuable Players (MVPs) were announced, which are voted by the athletes on each team once a season ends. Other notable honors were handed out and/or announced.

CANTON, N.Y. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team competed in the first United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Classic for the sport this past weekend. Two setbacks for the Crusaders resulted from the trip to SUNY Canton’s campus.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team (3-11) was unable to slow Benedictine College (5-7) on Sunday afternoon in a 16-6 setback. After trailing by two in the first quarter, the Crusaders allowed six straight goals, including the first five of Benedictine’s six second quarter goals to build a comfortable lead.

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team (3-10) was defeated 21-2 on Saturday versus Southwestern University (7-8). The Pirates scored a pair of four-goal quarters in the opening half and had plenty of momentum to break a three-game slide. Dallas has now lost the past three.

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team dropped a 12-1 decision at Milwaukee School of Engineering on Monday. The Crusaders allowed seven straight goals to the Raiders, including four in the first quarter.

WAUKESHA, Wis. - For the third time this spring, the University of Dallas men's lacrosse team scored double figures. The team matched a season-high in goals, including a 7-1 second half performance to prevail 11-3 on Saturday at Carroll University.

The Crusaders held a 31-27 advantage in that category, but a four-goal first quarter was enough to propel the guests over Dallas.
