2016 Athletics Banquet held Sunday

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Athletics Department celebrated the third annual athletic banquet on Sunday at the Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 14 NCAA affiliated programs took a few minutes to reflect on the teams’ year. The Most Valuable Players (MVPs) were announced, which are voted by the athletes on each team once a season ends. Other notable honors were handed out and/or announced.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its eighth annual fall All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 41 student-athletes were selected to the 2015 squad in the sports of men’s cross country, women’s cross country, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, and volleyball.

LAWRENCVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) released the All-SCAC Men’s Soccer Awards on Friday. Five members of the University of Dallas would be named with honors, highlighted by senior Colton Allen (Roanoke, Texas). The mark is the highest amount of recipients from the Crusaders since joining the SCAC five years ago.
Overtime Setback ends Men's Soccer's season in SCAC Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas men’s soccer team (8-8-2) fell in overtime on Friday to Schreiner University (8-10-1). It was the second time this fall, the two programs went beyond regulation in head-to-head matches, and was the third contest in 2015 to be decided by a 1-0 outcome.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - On Monday, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced University of Dallas men's soccer junior Tino Gamueda (Lubbock, Texas) the Defensive Player-of-the-Week. It is the second time this season and in the goalkeeper's career to receive the accolade.
Men's Soccer washed out at Austin College

SHERMAN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's soccer team and Austin College have canceled Sunday afternoon's match due to the field conditions being deemed too dangerous by the officials. The contest will not be rescheduled, and is the second time this tilt has faced unplayable conditions within a week.
Men's Soccer forces another Draw with No. 16 Colorado College on Friday

IRVING, Texas – On a windy and rainy evening, the University of Dallas men’s soccer team (8-7-2, 7-4-2 SCAC) would finish in a draw against No. 16 Colorado College (12-2-3, 10-1-2 SCAC) on Friday. It is the second time this season Dallas has forced the top 25th nationally ranked foe into a deadlock final. It is also the third-straight contest these programs have tied and fourth of the last six. Three of those meetings have occurred at Crusader Field.
Holdridge Tabbed on CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team

IRVING, Texas – On Thursday, the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team lists were announced. The University of Dallas men’s soccer team placed junior Barton Holdridge (Fort Worth, Texas) in the group from District 8. The forward was tabbed with the honor for the first time in his career and is only the third player for UD to receive the accolade.
