SCAC Tournament Pages for Upcoming Weekend

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has released the 2015 tournament websites for men’s soccer, volleyball, and women’s soccer. These pages contain information about location, the six participating teams, and info to spectators and fans alike.

The University of Dallas men’s soccer team notched its highest seed since joining the SCAC as the third seed. Dallas posted an 8-7-2 record and 7-4-2 mark in the conference. The league results in wins and points (23) are the highest since UD joined five years ago. Dallas will compete against the sixth seed, Schreiner University on Friday, November, 6, at 1:30 p.m. (MTD) at Stewart Field in Colorado College. The Crusaders split the regular season matches with SU, 1-1, with both contests going to the home squad in 1-0 decisions. Dallas is 0-1-1 on Stewart Field this season, tying Colorado College and dropping a 3-0 game to Wartburg College on the neutral site.

The Dallas women’s soccer team will host the SCAC Tournament at the friendly confines of Crusader Field on Nov. 6-8. The Lady Crusaders will play at 11 a.m. as the fifth seed, and face Southwestern University as the fourth seed. UD fell in both contests this season against the Pirates, including a 4-2 setback in Irving, Texas. Dallas went 6-13-1 overall and 4-7-1 in conference during the regular season.

The Dallas volleyball team travels to Georgetown, Texas, where the SCAC Tournament will be hosted by Southwestern University on Nov. 6-7. The Lady Crusaders are the sixth seed and will play the third seed, Texas Lutheran University, on Friday at 1:30 p.m. The victor in this matchup continues that day to play the second seed, Southwestern University, around 6 p.m. The team that falls would play Saturday at 11 a.m.
