42 Crusaders Qualified on SCAC Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its 2017 Spring Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today and 456 student-athletes made the list. Since its inception in 1997 just under 25,000 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.
Carmona Breaks his Own Record in Hammer at SCAC Championship

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team concluded the 2017 season on Friday and Saturday at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship hosted by Trinity University. Texas Lutheran University scored 272 points to win the team title. Trinity (221) and Colorado College (79) rounded out the top three places, respectively.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team will be competing in the 2017 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship on April 28-29 hosted by Trinity University. This is the second time the Crusaders will be competing at San Antonio this season, as they participated in the Trinity Open back on February 25.

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed in the McMurry Open. It was the third meet in a row the Crusaders competed in Abilene and second at a meet hosted by McMurry University.

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the Hardin-Simmons Invitational on Saturday. The Crusaders witnessed a couple Personal Records (PRs) and looked to build some more towards the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship that is nearly a month away in San Antonio, Texas.
Men's Track and Field Results at War Hawk Classic

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team returned to action after a couple weeks off and performed at the War Hawk Classic hosted by McMurry University. This competition featured several American Southwest Conference (ASC) school’s including the host. There were also Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opponents as Texas Lutheran University, Trinity University and Southwestern University all were present.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – On Saturday, the University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed in the Trinity Open. This meet featured fellow Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) foes Trinity University and Texas Lutheran University. Additionally, Division II Dallas Baptist University and Angelo State were also present.
Johnson & Wales (Denver) Becomes 9th SCAC Member

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – In an announcement made today at league headquarters, Johnson & Wales University (Denver) has accepted membership into the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), becoming the ninth member of the NCAA Division III league.
