Five Crusaders earn SCAC Spring All-Sportsmanship Selections

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced on Tuesday its ninth annual spring All-Sportsmanship Teams. A total 51 student-athletes were selected to the 2017 squad in the sports of baseball, men’s and women’s golf, softball, men’s and women’s tennis and men’s and women’s track and field.

The SCAC places a special emphasis on sportsmanship each year and is asking all fans of the conference to exhibit good sportsmanship at all conference functions throughout the 2016-17 season. Read the SCAC Presidents’ Council statement on Fan Sportsmanship.

Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season. 

The University of Dallas had five players from its spring teams that are associated with the SCAC selected. William Marshall (Frisco, Texas) represented baseball for the second straight year, Christina Torre (Novato, Calif.) represented softball, Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) represented men’s track and field, Grace Conti (Boxford, Mass.) represented women’s track and field, and Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) represented men’s golf.
