Eight Crusaders Elected to SCAC 2020 Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 12th annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 72 student-athletes were selected to the 2020 squad in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- For the next two weeks, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference will recognize and honor all of its senior spring sport student-athletes who had their final seasons cut short by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Crusaders Complete 2020 Hardin-Simmons Cowboy Invitational on Saturday

ABILENE, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team participated at the 2020 Hardin Simmons Cowboy Invitational on Saturday. Nicolas Vega (Dallas, Texas) picked up a new personal record (PR) in the triple jump with a mark of 11.35 meters and a sixth-place finish. Isaiah Hayes (Arlington, Texas) made his season debut on the day as he competed in the 400-meter dash and the 4x400 relay races. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) also finished second in the 400-meter hurdles at the 59.35 mark.
Dallas Participates at Leap Day Relays; Two Crusaders Notch Personal Records

JACKSON, Miss. – The University of Dallas men’s track and field team competed at the Leap Day Relays hosted by Millsaps College on Saturday. Kevin McGuirk (Front Royal, Va.) grabbed a career-best mark in the 100 Meter Hurdles with a time of 16.66. Joseph Rawicki (Midland, Texas) also notched a personal-best mark in his high school and collegiate career in the long jump with an effort of 5.82m. The Crusaders overall saw success all around in its first outdoor event of the year.

McGuirk and Rawicki Break Indoor School Records at Texas Tech Shootout

LUBBOCK, Texas – Joseph Rawicki (Midland, Texas) broke the 200 Meters Indoor school record with a 23.57 time on Friday at the Texas Tech Shootout. Rawicki made his collegiate debut with the program and broke the previous mark of 24.0 held by Barton Holdridge at the UCO Indoor on February 8, 2014.
