JACOB TOM OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior on the men’s lacrosse team, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Character & Community Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the period beginning May 1, 2017.

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.

Men's Lacrosse concluded 2017 slate at Colorado College Saturday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team closed its 2017 season with a 25-1 setback at Colorado College on Saturday. An 11-0 score after the first quarter propelled the Tigers (10-4) into control early. Dallas (2-12) has concluded the season under first year head coach Sam Ashton.

Trout III matched a team-high three points with a goal and two assists in Friday's setback.

AURORA, Colo. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team dropped a 12-8 decision on the road at Johnson & Wales University – Denver on Good Friday. The Crusaders (2-10) outscored Johnson & Wales (2-8) by a goal, 8-7, in the last three quarters. A 5-0 difference in the opening stanza proved to be too big a hole for UD to overcome.

DUBUQUE, Iowa – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team fell 18-3 on Sunday afternoon at University of Dubuque. The Crusaders (2-10) scored a goal per quarter in the first half, but Dubuque (7-4) led by nine at intermission, 11-2.

Blessard had career-high six points. His three-goal run in the 4th not enough to overcome gap.

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team battled Carroll University in a tight contest that concluded in a 9-7 setback for the visitors on Saturday. It was the narrowest margin of defeat for the Crusaders (2-9) this season as Carroll (4-7) gained the edge for the remainder of the contest on the third lead change.

Men's Lacrosse drops Senior Day Match to Piedmont

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team (2-7) closed out the home portion of its season with a 17-2 setback versus Piedmont College (4-7) on Sunday. A seven-goal first quarter set the momentum from the onset as the Crusaders dropped their fifth straight.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team dropped a 22-6 result on Friday to Calvin College. Dallas (2-7) matched its highest total in goals at home this spring, but the Knights (3-4) concluded their Texas road swing 1-1 by scoring at least four times per quarter.

Crusaders return home next weekend to finish the month.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team dropped a road contest on Sunday to Huntingdon College. The Hawks (6-6) scored five goals in each of the first three quarters en route to a 21-1 final over Dallas (2-6), who has dropped its past three.

IRVING, Texas – A sluggish start was too much to overcome on Thursday afternoon for the University of Dallas men’s lacrosse team. Seven unanswered goals for the University of Northwestern (1-3) in the first two quarters combined lifted the team to a 10-5 victory. The Crusaders (2-5) dropped both matches at home this week.
