THE LEAD

The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team embarks on its farthest road game to date with a trip up north to Wisconsin. The Crusaders will take on Carroll University on Saturday at 1 p.m. before traveling down to Dubuque, Iowa, on Sunday to face the University of Dubuque at 12 p.m.

Dallas is 2-8 on the campaign and are looking to turn the calendar forward to April. In March, the Crusaders went 0-5 as part of a five-game slide. This included four matches at home. Most recently, UD fell last Friday to Calvin College and Sunday to Piedmont College.

- Bogar Trout III (Tecumseh, Mich.) and Seamus McGuire (Colorado Springs, Colo.) were the most recent scorers for Dallas on Sunday.

- Christian Lopez (Las Vegas, Nev.) ranked third in NCAA according to latest rankings with 163. Those are NCAA countable matches. The freshman goalkeeper has notched 177 in 10 matches and 600 minutes this year. In the past two home matches, the keeper turned away a combined 48. He was one save shy of his personal best with 26 on Sunday.
