LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2015-16 winter term and 202 student-athletes made the list.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas Athletics Department celebrated the third annual athletic banquet on Sunday at the Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 14 NCAA affiliated programs took a few minutes to reflect on the teams’ year. The Most Valuable Players (MVPs) were announced, which are voted by the athletes on each team once a season ends. Other notable honors were handed out and/or announced.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) released the eighth annual All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 41 student-athletes were selected to the 2015-16 squad in the sports of men’s basketball, women’s basketball, men’s swimming & diving and women’s swimming and diving.

Uniontown, Pa. – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, the presenting sponsor of the 2016 USCAA Basketball National Championships, played host to the USCAA championship banquet on Tuesday night. At the banquet the USCAA awarded 128 All-Americans in its four divisions of basketball.

SHREVEPORT, La. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the 2015-16 All-Conference Women’s Basketball Selections. Voting is completed by the head coaches of all eight teams in the SCAC, and announced following the final semi-final game of the women’s basketball tournament.

ARLINGTON, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s basketball team (8-15) struggled maintaining possession, turning the ball over a season-high 41 times in a 100-59 final at Arlington Baptist College (17-5) on Tuesday. Dallas has dropped its past seven games now, and moved to 2-2 against the Patriots all-time.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women's basketball team fell 71-53 on Saturday night in a pivotal contest that determined the fifth place seeding in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The Lady Crusaders would fall for the sixth straight time against a league opponent and were eliminated from making the tournament.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s basketball team battled Friday night to keep Texas Lutheran University within reach, but fell 59-54 at the Maher Center. Dallas (8-14, 3-9 SCAC)) has dropped the past five contests, but have been all within six points or less. The Bulldogs (13-10, 9-3 SCAC) took the season-series and remain tied in second place in the conference standings.

SHREVEPORT, La. – The University of Dallas women’s basketball team (8-13, 3-8 SCAC) were topped 54-50 at Centenary College (8-14, 3-9 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon. Dallas has dropped the past four contests, all within league play. However, every contest has been by less than six points. It was also the first setback for the Lady Crusaders at the Gold Dome and ended a six-game winning streak against Centenary.

COLORADO COLLEGE, Colo. – The University of Dallas women’s basketball team (8-12, 3-7 SCAC) could not overcome a late push by Colorado College (4-18, 3-8 SCAC) on Friday night. Dallas dropped a one-point decision in a 68-67 final score. The team’s battled through nine lead changes and just as many ties.

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s basketball team (8-11, 3-6 SCAC) worked hard to recover from giving up the first 12 points in the opening quarter, but would be defeated 55-49 at Schreiner University (8-11, 6-3 SCAC) on Saturday evening. It’s the second straight conference setback as UD moves to 1-2 on the five game road stint. The team’s playing tonight split one win apiece on the season series.
