IRVING, Texas – Gabby Dixon (San Diego, Calif.) was named the Team MVP for the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team this spring. The second-year player led the Crusaders in ground balls with 44 and caused turnovers with 16. She ranked second on the squad in draw controls with 14. Dixon broke into the scoring column for the first time in her career this year with four goals. She added an assist.

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas is the host site of the 2021 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women’s Lacrosse Tournament, which will be played May 1-2. Three teams are in the tournament with the first round featuring No. 2 Seed Southwestern University and No. 3 Seed University of Dallas. Start time on Saturday is at 12 p.m. The winner will advance to play the No. 1 Seed Colorado College on Sunday at 11 a.m.

GEORGETOWN, Texas – Emily Pauletti (Dallas, Texas) continued her strong scoring season with the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team this past weekend in a pair of road matches. The senior attack built her team lead with five more goals against Southwestern University on Sunday and totaled 12 over the weekend in a pair of matches. This included a career-high seven goals against Hendrix College. Her 19 goals on the campaign are a team-high and are the second highest in a season and has accumulated 66 goals in four seasons.

IRVING, Texas – A season-high in scoring for the University of Dallas women’s lacrosse team was not enough on Saturday, as Hendrix College prevailed 16-12 with a 4-0 run in the final 12 minutes of the opening half that proved to be the determining stretch of the match.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team dropped its road match at Colorado College on Sunday. Dallas was limited to a pair of shots and Kathleen Rodda (Granite Bay, Calif.) Clarisa Duvvuri (San Marcos, Calif.) led the team with three ground balls. Sam Ketter (Parker, Colo.) and Sophia Haesuer (Napa, Calif.) added a pair each, and Gabby Dixon (San Diego, Calif.) won the lone UD draw control.
