Pauletti Honored for UD Women's Lacrosse on Sunday for Senior Day

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team fell on Sunday to Colorado College, 18-2. Dallas senior Emily Pauletti (Dallas, Texas) registered two more goals to further her team-lead on the season with seven. Pauletti was recognized for "Senior Day" following the match. She now has 55 goals to rank seventh in the program and her 55 points placed her eighth. After starting at Dallas as a member of the volleyball program, Pauletti played four seasons of lacrosse and each year moved toward being one of the team's top scoring options. She has started in 32 of 33 matches for her career including Sunday.

Gabby Dixon (San Diego, Calif.) contributed four ground balls and three draw controls, while Lizzy Elfelt (Brookfield, Wis.) added three ground balls and two draw controls. Her sister Emily Elfelt (Brookfield, Wis.) and Monica Coniker (Palmer Colo.) each had a caused turnover and pair of ground balls. Kathleen Rodda (Granite Bay, Calif.) led the team with eight ground balls and amassed a personal-high 14 saves.

The Tigers improved to 3-2, while UD dropped its fourth in a row on the season. Bella Scola did most of the scoring for CC with four goals. Courtney Zell and Courtney Tucker each had three assists. Zell turned in a great day with a trio of shots and assists, as well as four ground balls and a draw control.
