Pauletti Continues to Pace Crusaders Offense

GEORGETOWN, Texas – Emily Pauletti (Dallas, Texas) continued her strong scoring season with the University of Dallas women's lacrosse team this past weekend in a pair of road matches. The senior attack built her team lead with five more goals against Southwestern University on Sunday and totaled 12 over the weekend in a pair of matches. This included a career-high seven goals against Hendrix College. Her 19 goals on the campaign are a team-high and are the second highest in a season and has accumulated 66 goals in four seasons.

Pauletti was on target with most of her shots, as she placed all-but one over her 15 shots on cage in the pair of matches. Two of her goals came on free position shots.

Other Crusaders being credited goals in the setback at Southwestern were Lizzy Elfelt (Brookfield, Wis.) and Gabby Dixon (San Diego, Calif.).

Southwestern was in control from the outset, tallying 13 goals before Pauletti broke through and the Crusaders netted the final three goals of the first half to trail by 10 at break. The Pirates were led by Deanna Harnes with six goals and three assists. Raquel Kurth also contributed a hat trick and added a pair of helpers.

These teams will meet again on Saturday, May 1 at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Tournament hosted by Dallas. Start time is at 12 p.m. Printable Bracket
