Crusaders enjoy 2017 Athletic Awards Ceremony; Hampton repeats as Scholar-Athlete Recipient

IRVING, Texas – On Sunday the University of Dallas Athletic Department celebrated the fourth annual athletic banquet held at Haggar University Center on campus. Each coach for the 15 NCAA affiliated programs were asked to summarize the year for their teams. The team-voted Most Valuable Players (MVPS) were announced and handed out. Coaches also noted other conference achievements, program records, and student-athlete milestones.
Johnson & Wales (Denver) Becomes 9th SCAC Member

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – In an announcement made today at league headquarters, Johnson & Wales University (Denver) has accepted membership into the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), becoming the ninth member of the NCAA Division III league.

Lexi Stinson named Women's Soccer Head Coach

IRVING, Texas – Today the University of Dallas announced Lexi Stinson as the women’s soccer head coach. She becomes the ninth coach of the 21-year old program. Stinson replaces Angelina Pane, who left after four seasons to pursue interests outside of the University of Dallas. Stinson’s first date of working is on January 2.
5 Players Named on 2016 SCAC All-Sportsmanship Team

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its ninth annual fall All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 41 student-athletes were selected to the 2016 squad in the sports of men’s cross country, women’s cross country, football, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – On Monday the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced the 2016 All-SCAC Women’s Soccer Teams. Two players from the University of Dallas received nods for the All-SCAC Second Team. Chelsea Reeh (Boerne, Texas) and Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) were the two players named.
Eight Crusaders named to USCAA All-Academic Teams

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – On Friday, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) released the soccer, volleyball, and cross country All-Academic Team. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.5-mark.
No. 3 Trinity too much on Sunday for Women's Soccer

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s soccer team (4-13-2, 1-9-2 SCAC) were unable to keep up with third ranked Trinity University (18-0, 12-0 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon. The Crusaders blanked guests through halftime after two early goals allowed in the first fifteen minutes, but would surrender six in the final 45 minutes.

SHREVEPORT, La. – The University of Dallas (4-11-2, 1-8-2 SCAC) dropped a 3-0 contest on Sunday at Centenary College (6-9, 3-8 SCAC) to wrap up a five-game road trip. The Crusaders move to 1-2-2 on this past two week stretch.
Women's Soccer battles Austin College to 0-0 Result on Friday

SHERMAN, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s soccer team (4-10-2, 1-7-2 SCAC) battled Austin College (3-11-2, 1-8-2) on Friday afternoon to a scoreless draw. This is the second consecutive conference matchup that the Crusaders have resulted in a 0-0 final. Both teams remain deadlocked in sixth place of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) standings with five points.
