The last time men’s soccer had a player named to the USCAA National All-Academic Team was in 2013. Currently, the three players aided the program in claiming the 2015-16 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award. Hampton was awarded the 2015-16 University of Dallas Scholar Athlete of the Year, and Holdridge claimed a spot on the 2015 College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 8 Team. Haigh, like the others in this group, held spots on the 2015 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Fall Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

Volleyball last earned All-Academic honors in 2014. Koster and Seager each now have their second award with the USCAA, having repeated that year as part of the winning trio from UD. Koster already has demonstrated success for both her work on and off the court with the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-America Team. The senior tandem each have made the SCAC Fall Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll all years eligible to this point.

The women’s cross country team placed two new runners on the all-academic squad. The duo increases the programs total amount of winners to 10 since 2012. The most recent year (2014) saw the highest amount of runners to qualify in a single season, which was four. Kennedy and Moore each made the SCAC Fall Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll.

Vasile was the lone member from the women’s soccer team this season to round out the six fall sports’ winners. The junior was part of teams that earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award in 2014 and 2015. She has been named to the SCAC Fall Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll every season she has been eligible. The most recent players to earn nods on this team from women’s soccer was in 2013.
