SCAC CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW: Men's Track & Field heads to San Antonio, TX (4/24-4/25)

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men's track and field team will be heading to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships on Friday, April 24-25, hosted at Trinity University. 

Junior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.) ranks fourth in the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) with the conference on the 1500 Meters event. His score of 4:08.12 minutes at the Oklahoma Baptist University Outdoor Invitational placed him in the top five. He also ranks fifth in the standings on the 5000 Meter with a 16:07.72-clip.

This spring, McAnany has also set a school record in the 2 mile during the East Texas Time Trials with a time of 9:58 minutes. 

TFRRS also reflects junior Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) and sophomore Kevin Doherty (Lenexa, Kan.) in the top five of the 10,000 Meters and 3000 Meters Steeplechase, respectively. Grubner holds second with a 36:19.72 coming from the latest competition at the Walt Disney World Track and Field Open. Doherty ranks fourth with a 10:27.54 time produced at the same competition.
