Eight Crusaders Elected to SCAC 2020 Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its 12th annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 72 student-athletes were selected to the 2020 squad in the sports of baseball, men's and women's golf, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's track and field.

Dallas Wraps Up Schreiner Spring Shootout on Tuesday

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s golf team completed the second and final round of the Schreiner Spring Shootout on Tuesday. The Crusaders were led by Kaylei Richardson (Vega, Texas) who carded a score of 191 (95, 96) as she tied 43rd overall. Claire Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) shot a 101 and finished with a 199 (98, 101) in the tournament for 47th place. Emma Christensen (West Haven, Utah) followed right behind her teammate with a 203 (101, 102) for the 48th spot.
Crusaders Compete at Schreiner Spring Shootout

KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s golf team completed the first round of the Schreiner Spring Shootout held at Comanche Trace Golf Course on Monday. Kaylei Richardson (Vega, Texas) sits in a tie for 38th after shooting a 95 on the Par 72 course.
Crusaders Complete Play at SCAC Preview on Tuesday

BLANCO, Texas – The University of Dallas women’s golf finished out the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Preview at the Vaaler Creek Golf Club hosted by Texas Lutheran University on Tuesday. The Crusaders were unable to hang with the rest of the group and ended up falling down in the standings overall. Claire Kirby paced the Crusaders with a score of 182 (84, 98) for 20th place.
Kirby Sits in a Tie for 11th After Day One of SCAC Preview

BLANCO, Texas – The University of Dallas women's golf team completed the first round of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Preview at the Vaaler Creek Golf Club hosted by Texas Lutheran University on Monday. Dallas kicked off the spring slate with some solid scores after the completion of 18 holes. Claire Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) leads the trio of Crusaders with a career-best score of 84 which places her in a tie for 11th place.

Women's Golf Reveals 2020 Schedule

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women’s golf team has released its 2020 spring schedule. UD will be led by fourth year head coach Garett Smith in its inaugural debut in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). This spring will mark the first season that the women’s golf team will be able to compete as a team at the conference championships held in April. Last year was the first year that this program was sponsored as an NCAA Division III sport.
