UD Hall of Fame Feature: Angela Cuba

In 2008, Angela Cuba led the University of Dallas women's Cross Country team to the championship of the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) with a second place finish in the conference meet with a school record time (18:40) for 5,000 Meters. This championship was the first conference championship for the school in the modern era of athletics at the university. As a cross country runner, she won four meets in her career, which spanned a school-record 27 events. In track, she added three more victories and is the holder of the school record at 3000 Meters (10:55.41 minutes). Cuba amassed many postseason accolades including: 2006 AD3I Women's Cross Country Second Team, 2008 AD3I Women's Cross Country First Team, CoSIDA Women's Cross Country First Team All-Academic All-District, 2008 NEAC Women's Cross Country First Team, 2009 AD3I Women's Cross Country Second Team, and NEAC Women's Cross Country First Team.
