Wilgenbush Claims 3rd SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

ANNA WILGENBUSCH OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore from St. Paul, Minn., has been named the SCAC Women's Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. This is the third time this season Wilgenbush has claimed the weekly honor. She also won weeks 3 and 4 to give her a personal-best how many times an individual has earned the accolade. The three times by a Dallas women's cross country runner matches the most times a member of the program has been tabbed Conference Runner of the Week with the 2012 season.

Wilgenbusch won her fifth competition in as many tries in 2019 with the team's first 6K this fall at the ETBU Tiger Invitational. Her performance led the UD women to a first place team finish and, in the process, the sophomore shattered her third school record this fall as she topped the previous best 23:38 mark with a 22:41.80 result.

Dallas races another 6k this Saturday, October 19, at the Bill Libby Invitational hosted in Abilene, Texas.
