Women's Cross Country Results for University of Ozarks Invitational

 CLARKSVILLE, Ark. – The University of Dallas women's cross country team finished 5th place out of 10 teams on Saturday in the University of Ozarks Invitational. Dallas posted 132 points, two shy of tying fourth place Delta State University. Harding University nearly swept all the top spots with 17 points, Arkansas Tech University took second with 84 points, and John Brown University got third with 105 points.

A trio of girls from Harding earned top awards individually with Amber Webb winning first with a time of 19:03 minutes. Madison Drennan and Hayley Baca respectively finished after with final times of 19:20 and 19:39.

NOTABLE RESULTS

- Bridget Kennedy (San Antonio, Texas) has paced UD in all three 5K's this season, and did so Saturday with a 13th finish of 20:42 minutes.

- Angela Moore (Austin, Texas) was right behind slotting in 15th place. She ran a 20:50 minute race.

- Joey Danaher (Boulder, Colo.) rounded out the top three runners for the Crusaders and took 26th by being clocked at a personal record (PR) 21:26 minutes.

- Emily Cosgray (Simonton, Texas) also got a PR 21:30 result to complete the top 30 finishers in the standings for UD. 

- Mary Korth (McKinney, Texas) and Ana Wilhelm (Kiowa, Kan.) registered season-bests with respective times of 23:16 and 24:06.

Dallas is home on October 15 for the University of Dallas Invitational. Women's race is at 10 a.m. Kennedy owns her best 5K time in cross country with a time of 19:39 minutes which gave her 2nd place.
