Junior Mary Jones claims SCAC Women's Cross Country 'Runner of the Week'
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - MARY JONES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior from Oneida, Wis., has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner-of-the-Week for meets run through Saturday, Sept. 8.
For the second time in her first two meets, Jones of the season placed in top-10 of the field.
Following an eighth-place finish at the University of Dallas Invitational, Jones placed third in the University of Texas-Tyler Invitational on Friday, Sept. 7, with a time of 20:45 over the 5K course to lead the team to a second-place finish, only one-point behind team champion Texas-Tyler.
