PERSONAL: Rachel is the daughter of Ed and Mary Oleksiak, was born on August 11th, 1991, and has two sisters. She is a Spanish major with a concentration in Education, and is Dean's List student with a 3.8 GPA. Her favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice, and her favorite band is The Rocket Summer. Her favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine, and her parents are her role models. During her free time she enjoys running, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.
