PERSONAL: The daughter of Pablo and Florencia Zermeno, she was born June 11, 1992 and has one older sister and one younger brother and sister. Julissa is a Biology major with a Pre-Nursing concentration who likes to spend time with family and friends, be outdoors, cook, bake, and listen to music among other things. Her favorite athlete is Steve Prefontaine and her role model is Jesus Christ.
