IRVING, Texas -- The Crusaders end their homestand against the Yellowjackets of Howard Payne University. Dallas battled through all 4 sets, but fell short in the 3rd set. The Crusaders record sits now at 1-17 overall.
The Crusaders handeled adversity in the first set in a close one (25-23) , forcing the Yellojackets hand in the second set ( 25-27 ). The Crusaders could not find their footing in set three and barely came within 9 points. That shift in momentum proved to be too much for Dallas and they ultimately fell in the 4th set.
The Crusaders acquired 41 kills, 13 from Bailie Garcia, Marcette Williams had 11 and 5 from Brooklyn Miller.
Reagan Aponte managed 30 assists on the day, and Carina Alonso had 17 digs across 4 sets of action.
