Women's Volleyball Celebrate Senior Day with a Sweep

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's volleyball team celebrated their five seniors with a non-conference sweep of Dallas Christian College.

The Crusaders were firmly in the driver's seat from start to finish, recording their highest team hitting percentage of the season at .278.  They cracked 40 kills in a three set match for the third time this season, recording 41 kills on the night en route to winning all three sets by double-digits.

Cassie Dyoub and Dayjah Whyte each had 11 kills, leading all players.  Whyte also hit .500, tying her season best mark. Ellise Anable led the team with 14 digs, and Larissa Ramirez broke 30 assists for the fifth time this season with 35 on the night, her second highest total of the season.

Conference play resumes for the Frusaders next Saturday.  They will face Colorado College at 11:00 a.m. and St. Thomas at 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 30.
