Crusaders Waltz Past Arlington Baptist

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's volleyball team were dominant in their 3-1 win over Arlington Baptist this evening, defeating the Patriots 3-1.

Though the Crusaders slipped up in the second set, the Patriots taking the set 25-16, by and large the Crusaders were the far better team for most of the night.  Though they had more kills in set one, they were at their most efficient in set three with nine kills and a .233 hitting percentage.  They cruised to a 25-9 win in the third set, and 25-14 win in set four to clinch the match.

Cassie Dyoub had her second straight double-double, leading all players with 17 kills, 12 digs, and 19.5 points.  Larissa Ramirez cracked 30 assists for the fourth time this season, notching 31 against the Patriots.

The Crusaders will be celebrating their Senior Night this Friday, Oct. 22.  Their match against Dallas Christian will start at 6:00 p.m., with the celebration of the seniors set to take place immeidately after.
