SHREVEPORT, La. - The CUniversity of Dallas women's volleyball team wrapped up play in the SCAC Divisional Tournament this afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Trinity.
The Crusaders hung with Trinity at times in their three sets of play, but the Tigers were firmly in control for much of the game. Though they were at their best in the first set,tallying 11 kills while hitting .143, it was not enough against a formidable Trinity team. Try as they might, the Crusaders had a hard time breaking down the Tigers defense, a defense that tallied seven total blocks on the day. The Tigers took set one 25-18, and sets two and three by double-digits to complete the sweep.
Cassie Dyoub led the team with seven kills, eight digs, and seven points for the game. Larissa Ramirez and Abby Medico each tallied seven assists.

The Crusaders are back in action on Friday, Oct. 8. They will face Colorado College on the road, in a two day tournament hosted by Austin College.
