LONGVIEW, Texas - The University of Dallas women's volleyball team lost their non-conference matchup with Le Tourneau University after three tight sets.
The Crusaders were at the highest of peaks and lowest of valleys in set one, their highs for kills (10) and errors (12) in the match both coming in the opening set. Though things were much cleaner in the sets to follow, they struggled to finish against a good LETU team.
They kept themselves in the game with their service game, racking up nine aces, as well as with their net presence, tallying eight block assists on the night.
Dayjah Whyte led the Crusaders with 7.5 points, recording six kills and three block assists. Chloe Ilagan lead the team with 16 digs, and Larissa Ramirez notched 12 assists on the night.
