UD Volleyball's Delgado Led USCAA in Digs and Digs Average; Whyte Top-5 in Several Categories

NORFOLK, Va. – Moriah Delgado (Fort Worth, Texas), a sophomore libero on the University of Dallas volleyball team, led the United States Collegiate Athletic Association in total digs with 247 and digs per set with a 4.94-clip. Delgado eclipsed double-digits in digs in all-but three matches and was in 15 total for the spring. Her season-high was 33 in a 3-0 sweep over Schreiner University.

Another UD player that cracked the top-five leaderboard was Dayjah Whyte (Round Rock, Texas). The Team MVP finished second in kills (139), third in hitting percentage (.221), and was fourth in kills per set (2.73) and blocks per set (0.63).
