MATCH NOTES
- Dallas opens the 2019 campaign with four matches in the Pacific Coast Classic.
- The Crusaders went 20-15 overall last season and were 7-9 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). Each were highest-win marks since 2014.
- Dayjah Whyte (Round Rock, Texas) led the team with 318 kills (2.92 k/s) and hit .279. She added 47 blocks for second on the team.
- Abigail Porras (El Paso, Texas), Ellise Anable (Phoenix, Ariz.), and Isabel Garcia (San Antonio, Texas) contributed 275, 260, and 232 kills, respectively.
-Krystyn Pua (Escondido, Calif.) paced the team with 495 digs and Anna Stevenson (Dallas, Texas) garnered a team-high 52 blocks that included 14 solo.
- The Crusaders are 2-0 versus Occidental College, 1-0 versus Kean, 0-1 against Pomona-Pitzer, and have never faced Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

-Pomona-Pitzer is coming off a 13-15 campaign that included a 10-6 record in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).
- Pomona-Pitzer was picked fourth in the SCIAC Coaches' Preseason Poll.
- The Sagehens will start their campaign against UD.
- Claremont-Mudd-Scripps are the defending conference champion of the SCIAC and were selected to repeat in the 2019 preseason vote by the SCIAC coaches.
- The team also captured a number five ranking in the national preseason poll from the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
- CMS won the national title in 2017 and was 27-4 overall a year ago.
- Kean got tabbed second with four first place votes in the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Last season, the Cougars went 19-16 and 6-2 in the NJAC.
- Jesse Larkin, Brianna Calvano, and Zoe Strozewski will be key players to watch as the trio returns with All-NJAC selections from 2018.
- Occidental received an eighth place finish selection in the SCIAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- The Tigers went 8-16 in 2018 that included a 3-13 conference mark.
- Taylor Gorretta returns as the top hitter with 192 kills (2.21 k/s), which was second-most on the squad a season ago.

ROAD AHEAD
Dallas is on the road again at the Millsaps/Belhaven Invite from September 6-7. The Crusaders will play East Texas Baptist, Belhaven University, Huntingdon College (AL), and Central Baptist College.
