Koster Captures USCAA All-American 2nd Consecutive Year

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Jessie Koster (Sherwood, Ore.) from the University of Dallas volleyball team earned her second United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) All-American, as the First, Second, and Honorable Mention Teams were released on Friday. Koster picked up an honorable mention for the second straight season, as she ranked among the top of the statistical leaders in digs and digs-per-set in as many seasons.

Koster ranked second in the USCAA for digs (854) and third in digs-per-set (7.49). This comes a year after she boasted the league lead in digs (790) and was second in digs-per-set (6.69).

Other offseason awards the senior libero has garnered include: AVCA West All-Region, CoSIDA Academic All-American Team, SCAC Backrow Player-of-the-Year, and All-SCAC 2nd Team.

Koster cemented herself in the school record books with four milestones. She has racked the all-time most number of digs (2,880) in a career for the conference and school. Her career digs-per-set remained the highest school total at a 6.26-clip. Koster also surpassed her own individual season record in total digs. Her current leading NCAA Division III and SCAC digs average mark is the final program record.
