Koster recognized on AVCA Division III West All-Region Team
LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jessie Koster (Sherwood, Ore.) from the University of Dallas volleyball team added to her impressive amount of postseason accolades on Thursday by being named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-Region Team. Koster is the first member of the program to receive such an accolade and was one of 20 players among the West Region selected.
Other offseason awards the senior libero has garnered include CoSIDA Academic All-American Team, SCAC Backrow Player-of-the-Year, and All-SCAC 2nd Team.
Koster cemented herself in the school record books with four milestones. She has racked the all-time most number of digs (2,880) in a career for the conference and school. Her career digs-per-set remained the highest school total at a 6.26-clip. Koster also surpassed her own individual season record in total digs with 854. Her current NCAA Division III and SCAC digs average (7.49) is the final program record.
