Volleyball Player Mary Scholz gains home-town Recognition for Successful first season

Freshman Mary Scholz produced an outstanding first impression in her collegiate debut campaign for the Univeristy of Dallas volleyball team.

The native of Fallon, Nevada, was featured in a piece by the "Nevada Appeal" that highlights and reflects on the outside hitter's journey through her the Lady Crusaders' season, where they posted a 23-13 overall record and 8-6 SCAC record.

Dallas would claim the fourth-seed in the conference tournament and also would finish the three-day tournament with a 1-2 result that weekend.

Scholz began her career with a personal best 16 kills in a 3-1 setback versus Hardin-Simmons and would total 151 through 90 games on the year. She also totaled seven contests with double figure numbers in the digs category.
