IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas volleyball (19-9, 6-4 SCAC) team rolled by Dallas Christian College on Tuesday night, which was also "Senior Night" for a trio of Lady Crusaders.

Those included were: setter C.J. Broadbent (Goodyear, Ariz), middle bloacker Emily Caples (Walnut Creek, Calif.), and outside hitter Christine Jablonsky (Colorado Springs, Colo.), who all started on the court for the navy and white in their final match at Maher Athletic Center.

Dallas swept the visiting Crusaders 25-8, 25-9, and 25-19.

After cruising to a pair of large wins in the first two sets, the Lady Crusaders were involved in their closest round to secure the non-conference contest. The triumph improved the home squad to 13-5 versus opponents outside the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

In the final set, Dallas scored three-straight points to break past a 16-16 tie and eventually would earn the victory after outscoring Dallas Christian 9-3.

For the consecutive match, the Lady Crusaders did not place someone in double-digits for kills, but did receive contributions from a variety of players.

The home squad was paced by Jablonsky with eight, giving her the same total in back-to-back games. Fellow classmate Caples and junior middle blocker Jaime Birzer (Ottawa, Kan.) added seven each.

Defensively, sophomore libero Jessie Koster (Sherwood, Ore.) rattled off a game-high, 21 digs, while Broadbent finished with 26 assists.
