COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas volleyball team (16-8, 5-3 SCAC) defeated Centenary College of Louisiana (2-16, 0-8 SCAC) on the first day of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Divisional No. 3.

Dallas increased its win streak to six in a row, a season-long, and has posted three consecutive sweeps.

The latest occurred with the Lady Crusaders claiming the entire trio of sets: 25-13, 25-11, and 25-26.

Senior middle blocker Emily Caples (Walnut Creek, Calif.) notched a team-high, 14 kills, the lone member of the navy and white to break double figures in that category. It also marked a season-best for one of the team's second leading scorer.

Outside hitters freshman Mary Scholz (Fallon, Nev.) and sophomore Mairin Guilfoyle (Roanoke, Va.) followed with six and five kills, respectively.

Senior setter C.J. Broadbent (Goodyear, Ariz.) added 29 assists while defensively sophomore libero Jessie Koster scooped out 11 digs, also becoming the only player to burst into that category in double-digits.

The tournament concludes Sunday with Dallas expected to play Austin College and host school, Colorado College. Tip is set for 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
