Irving, Texas – The University of Dallas volleyball team (14-8) prevailed 3-0 over Jarvis Christian College (2-13) on Thursday night at the Maher Athletic Center. It is the fourth victory in a row for the navy and white, tying a season-long.

The triumph also improves the Lady Crusader's record at home to 5-1 on the campaign.

It was a solid match for Dallas, as the home squad posted a sweep over the Bulldogs, 25-15, 25-6, and 25-18.

After trailing 3-1 in the opening set, the Lady Crusaders took the lead for good on a kill from junior middle blocker Jaime Birzer (Ottawa, Kan.), making it 4-3 at the time.

Jarvis Christian remained close through the next several sequences, prior to the home team shifting the momentum with a 9-3 run and pushing the result to 20-12. The final score of the round would be 25-15, as the navy and white concluded the frame with four unanswered points.
