Allison Seager named @SCAC_Sports Volleyball 'Defensive-Player of the Week'
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - ALLISON SEAGER OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a freshman defensive specialist from Dallas, Texas, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Volleyball Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played Monday, Sept. 30 through Sunday, Oct. 6.
Seager nearly doubled her season total in digs, on the weekend, finishing with 57 total in 11 games to lead then University of Dallas to a 3-0 week.
Seager averaged 5.18 digs-per-set over the weekend, up from her season average of 1.45. She picked up a weekend-high 24 digs against Johnson & Wales (Colo.) and then added 23 against Victory University (Tenn.). She also added 13 assists and four service aces.
