Sophomore middle blocker Emily Caples achieves SCAC Volleyball Offensive 'Player of the Week'

SUWANEE, Ga. - EMILY CAPLES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore middle blocker from Walnut Creek, Calif. has been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, Aug. 27 through Sunday, Sept. 2.

In four matches (14 sets) Caples knocked down 50 kills in 104 attemps (48%), averaging 3.57kills/set while hitting a robust .337. Caples also had 12 blocks for a 0.86 blocks/set average. Additionally, Caples chipped in with 16 digs and five aces.
