Sophomore middle blocker Emily Caples earns SCAC Volleyball Offensive 'Player of the Week'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - EMILY CAPLES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore middle blocker from Walnut Creek, Calif., has been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Volleyball Offensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, Oct. 8 through Sunday, Oct. 14.

Caples led Dallas to a 4-1 record this past week. Caples scored 83 points for the Crusaders in 21 sets, an average of 3.95 points/set. For the week she had 57 kills, averaging 2.71 kills/set with a .385 hitting percentage. She also had 18 blocks and eight service aces.
