Theresa Wohldmann came to Dallas from Florrisant, Mo., a northern suburb of St Louis. Theresa attended Nerinx Hall where she was a star middle blocker for the Markers. She also played club volleyball, twice leading her CYC team to the USAV Junior National Championships. Away from the volleyball court Theresa was a National Honor student at Nerinx, and actively involved on campus and in the community. Since arriving at UD in 2009 Theresa has been a fixture at outside hitter and one of the Crusaders top all-around players. Among her many awards and honors are: AD3i Player-of-the-Year (Association of Division III independents) AD3i All-Independent (3x) USCAA All-American (2x) SCAC 2nd-team All-Conference 5-time Player-of-the-Week, 4-time All-Tournament selection Theresa holds the UD single season kill record (479) and is on pace to break the UD career kill record sometime this season. Additionally, she was the first player in UD history to post 400 kills and 400 digs in the same season. Theresa is a biology major at UD, preparing to attend nursing school and a career in the medical field. She is one of the most active people on campus at UD, a leader with several clubs and organizations while also working with youth recreation in the local area and back home over the summer.
