Volleyball triumphant over Arlington Baptist College

The University of Dallas volleyball team (19-9) defeated Arlington Baptist College in just three sets Tuesday, winning 25-15, 25-18, 25-19.

Junior rightside Danielle Fuchs (St. Charles, MO/Duchesne H.S.) led UD's attack with 16 kills, one ace, and two blocks. Fuchs and sophomore outside hitter Theresa Wohldmann (Florissant, MO/Nerinx Hall H.S.) tied as dig leaders with seven digs each; Wohldmann also had nine kills, two aces, and one block. Sophomore setter Amanda Kitten (Slaton, TX/Lubbock-Cooper) had 41 assists throughout the match, as well as one ace and one block.

The Crusaders will play at home for the final time this season on Oct. 28 at 7:00 p.m. With it being 'Senior Night', UD will honor the contributions of the team's lone senior, libero Kelli Fuentes. Come out to cheer on the girls as they face Dallas Christian College!
