Fuentes Named NEAC Tournament MVP

The University of Dallas not only won this weekend's North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament, but junior libero Kelli Fuentes (Rowlett, TX/Rowlett H.S.) was unanimously named the NEAC Tournament MVP. The Rowlett native dominated the back court the entire five matches of the weekend with her passing and digging. She finished the weekend with 50 digs for a 2.94 digs per game average, nine service aces, and one assist. So far in the Crusaders 19-19 season, Fuentes leads the team with 538 digs for a 4.37 digs per game average and has 28 service aces.
