Women's Track and Field Marc Randle Classic Results

BULLARD, Texas – On Friday the University of Dallas women's track and field team competed in the Marc Randle Classic hosted by University of Texas at Tyler. This meet featured several teams from varies levels. The NCAA Division III schools including: host UT-Tyler, fellow Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) team Austin College, McMurry University, Hendrix College, LeTourneau University, and East Texas Baptist University.

NCAA Division II Southern Arkansas University came away with first place as a team with 153 points. Wiley College also eclipsed triple-digits with 131.50, and McMurry rounded out the top three spots with 71.

For the Crusaders, Clare Basil (Arnold, Md.) headlined the individuals with a 5th place finish in the 1500 Meter Run (5:19.4) for her season debut.

NOTABLE RESULTS

- Mary Korth (McKinney, Texas) clipped two seconds off her 800 split from the TLU Relays and ran a 2:51 mark.

- Mary Rose Corkery (Mansfield, Mass.) ran for the first time this spring in the 800 Meters. She had been dealing with injuries first two meets.

- Katie McIntyre (Sparta, N.J.) remained out and continues to recover from an injury.

- Cora Keil (LaCrosse, Wis.) ran her first collegiate open in the 400m and posted a 65.68. Her freshman campaign was all relays.
