SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team lost their conference match with #8 Trinity University 6-0 on Sunday. They fall to 4-8-2 on the year and 3-5-2 in conference play.
The Dallas defense held strong for much of the first half, but couldn't hold forever. The Tigers were rewarded for their efforts with the opening goal in the 34th minute, then doubled their lead six minutes later.
They would make it 3-0 10 minutes into the second half, then went on to score a string of three goals in a seven minute span to take a commanding 6-0 lead. The Crusaders kept them out of the net for the final 20 minutes, but couldn't cut into the deficit as Trinity saw out the win.
