KERRVILLE, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team lost their conference match with Schreiner University 1-0 on Friday. The fall to 4-7-2 on the year and 3-3-2 in conference play.
The play was just as even as the earlier matchup between the two sides just two short weeks ago. It was a hard fought back and forth battle, and after 45 minutes there was no separating them.
For 80 minutes, it looked like another 0-0 stalemate was in the cards, but Schreiner just managed to claw ahead with the decisive goal in the 81st minute. The Crusaders continued to press forward in the dying minutes, but couldn't find the equalizer as the Mountaineers sealed the win.
