IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team lost their conference match up with Trinity University 6-0 on Sunday. They fall to 3-5-2 on the year and are 2-2-2 in conference play.
The Crusaders defended well for stretches of this match, but couldn't hold back the potent Tigers offense for long. The opneing goal in the 10th minute would be all they needed, but Trinity would triple their lead by the end of the first half.
Dallas battled hard for the first 15 minutes of the second half, but three goals in a 13 minute span by the Tigers made it 6-0. The Crusaders finished strong with nearly 20 minutes of solid defending, but there was no coming back for them as Trinity saw out the win.

Conference play continues next Friday as they hit the road to face St. Thomas. They will face the Celts at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 7.
