MARSHALL, Texas - The University of Dallas women's soccer team lost their non-conference matchup with East Texas Baptist 3-0 on Friday. They fall to 2-3-0 on the season.
The Tigers were the dominant force from start to finish, scoring their first goal just 17 seconds into the game. They peppered Dallas with shots, especially in the first half, and would double their lead in the 31st minute. Navaeh Coronado could have cut the deficit in half in the 39th minute, but her low effort strike was saved.
Dallas tightened things up in the back in the second half, greatly limiting the number of chances on goal for the Tigers. But they could not find the back of the net themselves, and ETBU would put the icing on the cake with their third goal in the 90th minute to seal the deal.
