MATCH NOTES
- The University of Dallas women's soccer team opens the 2019 campaign this weekend with a pair of matches at home. The Crusaders host North Lake College in their season opener on Friday, August 30, a 5 p.m.
- Dallas dropped a scrimmage last season to the Blazers, 1-0. That result did not count toward the school's record book.
- UD is 2-6 overall against Howard Payne. The Crusaders prevailed 4-1 in last year's meeting in Irving.
- Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) registered a hat trick and tallied a career-high seven points against HPU in 2018.
- Duran returns as the team-leader in points and goals with 11 and four, respectively.
- May Lien Le (Katy, Texas) followed with eight points coming off three goals, which was also second on the squad.
- Bekah Gonzalez (Reno, Nev.) provided a team-high five assists her freshmen campaign.
- Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.) returns as the senior goalkeeper having logged 1,354:09 minutes over 17 matches that she started 14 in. She compiled a career-high 103 saves and posted a 76.9 save percentage.

- North Lake is 0-3 on the season having dropped its last match, 2-1, versus Paris Junior College.
- Faith Medina, Yaena Medina, and Yajaira Salazar have recorded a goal apiece for the Blazers.
- Charlene Hernandez has nine saves and played all 270 minutes in goal.
- Howard Payne begins its season at Dallas on Saturday.
- The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 2-12-1 season that included a 2-8-1 mark in the American Southwest Conference (ASC).
