KICKOFF
The University of Dallas women's soccer team opens its last home stretch of the 2018 season with Centenary College on Tuesday night around 7 p.m. The Crusaders will be playing their final three matches in Irving, and have just five remaining on the regular season slate. Four of those games will be against Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern University.
Dallas brings a 3-7-2 overall record and 2-5-1 mark against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) opponents. Most recently UD tied Schreiner University in 2-2 fashion on Friday, and dropped Sunday's road match to No. 15 Trinity University.
UD NOTES
- Elisa Duran (Pomona, Calif.) produced one of the goals in the tie last Friday to give her a personal-best and team-high four in a season. The junior is also the team-leader in points (11) and now has 25 in her career.
- Monica O'Donnell (Lincoln, Neb.) joins Mason Cosgrove (Las Cruces, N.M.) and May Lien Le (Katy, Texas) as the other active players with multiple goals scored on the campaign.
- Olivia Severson (La Crosse, Wis.) now has 145 saves over three campaigns for the junior goalkeeper. She has started the past seven matches – including six in conference.
CENTENARY NOTES
- The Ladies are 8-5 this season with an even 5-5 conference record after starting out with four straight league victories.
- Since the hot start, the Maroon and White are 2-5 and have dropped the last two matches, although it has been a while since playing due to a pair of non-conference games this past week cancelled by weather.
- Kyra Montes is the top scorer on the team with 12 goals and also has 29 points thanks to five assists.
- Amy Moreno matches a team-best in helpers with five.
PREVIOUS MATCH
- Centenary claimed the earlier match this season with a 4-1 result in Shreveport at C.E. Byrd High School's turf field.
- Two goals per half lifted the Ladies, who received goals from a different player each time.
- UD's scoring play came from Lien.
- Dallas has done better against the Ladies at home, winning the last six matches dating to 2012.

Dallas nears the end of the season with two new conference foes that haven't been faced yet. On Friday, October 19, the Crusaders welcome Texas Lutheran University for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
