O'Donnell and Severson's Past Weekend Performances Net USCAA Honors

NORFOLK, Va. - The University of Dallas women's soccer team swept the weekly United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Player of the Week Awards last week. 

Monica O'Donnell of the University of Dallas is the USCAA Women's Division I Soccer Player of the Week. Monica scored the game-winning goal last Friday to propel the Crusaders to their first SCAC victory of the season. This game winning goal also happened to be her first career goal, completing a stellar performance.  

Olivia Severson of the University of Dallas is the USCAA Women's Division I Soccer Goalie of the Week. Olivia Severson posted her 5th career shutout with eight saves to lift the Crusaders to a 1-0 victory over Schreiner University. The win was UD's first in conference play this season. The junior posted a season-high 11 saves on Sunday against No. 21 Trinity University.
