Former Women's Soccer Player to Speak at MLK Day Symposium
IRVING, Texas – On January, 15th, at SB Hall the University of Dallas will be holding MLK Day Symposium: I've Been to the Mountaintop. Speaking will be Sister Josephine, who graduated with a BA in 2003 and played women's soccer with the Crusaders.
Sister Josephine majored in politics at UD, and spent 10 years in the banking industry before beginning her formation with the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth in November 2011. She professed her first vows in October 2015 and now serves as public relations coordinator for the Nazareth Retreat Center, a sponsored ministry of the order.
